Peace Poster Contest through Pigeon Falls Lions Club.
Many students worked several hours outside of school time to complete their posters. Some students even gave up a recess for several days in a row to work on posters.

Last Saturday twelve Whitehall High School Choir students attended the Dairyland All-Conference Honor Choir, that took place here in Whitehall.
These students were Cali Dunn, Ella Knutson, Fernanda Hernandez-Garcia, Iyla Bergeson, Emerald Johnson, Jonah Semb, Andrew Pratt Jr., Karston Ausderau, Corbin Johnson, Dalton Konkel, Mason Przybylla, and Reese Solsrud.
This Honor Concert consisted of forty-eight choir members across eight schools in the Dairyland Conference. The students studied and prepared five choral pieces which they performed under the direction of conductor Kate Larson.
They spent the day rehearsing and perfecting the music, learning choral skills from the director and fellow students.

Not only did the 4th grade team win the elementary staff costume contest last week, but they utilized the emerging tech lab and the help of Mr. Eid to make their costumes complete! 🎟🥇💻 We think that is definitely a WIN-WIN!

Today the Whitehall and Pigeon Falls Lions Club stopped in to perform vision screenings for our students. 👓✨ Thank you to the Lions Clubs for their commitment year after year!
Fun Fact: Mr. Dave Schaefer told us that they have been able to screen over 10,000 students in our area since 2016. Amazing!

Whitehall High School Choir sent 5 students to the UW-Eau Claire Clearwater Festival this past Saturday!
Ella Knutson, Andreanna Hemenway, Jonah Semb, Fernanda Hernandez Garcia, and Iyla Bergeson were participants.
The students studied and prepared four choral pieces which they performed under the direction of Dr. Frank Watkins and Dr. Gary Schwartzhoff. They spent the day at UW-Eau Claire's Music and Theatre Arts Department, working with faculty and music students to rehearse for the performance.
Over 30 schools attended the festival; we were proud to have these students representing Whitehall!

Math This Week 🍭🍬🍫🥫
7th graders finished a unit on scaled drawings and finished the unit with The Wrapper Project!
Students selected a wrapper that they wanted to enlarge, used a grid system to make their side lengths two, three, or four times larger, then sketched and colored the wrapper to make it look like the original.
The wrappers turned out fantastic and are on display in the middle school hallway if you want to venture down during parent-teacher conferences this week to check them all out!

At the September board meeting, the board received a Norse Charcuterie Board created by Aryana Ausderau in our new tech center. A small token of appreciation for their hard work, thoughtful guidance, and dedication to our district.
