Whitehall School District Board of Education

Whitehall  School District's Board of Education, consists of seven board members who  are publicly elected for a three year term.  The board meets regularly on the fourth Monday of every month (unless otherwise specified) starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Elementary Balcony, located at 19121 Hobson St, Whitehall, WI 54773.

Additional Special Meetings may be called by the Board president if requested by either a Board member or the Superintendent.

Jason Molis

School Board President

Board Member since 2014. Graduate of WHS class of 1992. Jason and his wife Melissa, have two daughters, Kaitlyn and Karli. They reside in the City of Whitehall, where they own and operate the Molis Insurance Agency. Jason enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time at the camper with family.

Emily Herness

School Board Treasurer

Emily is a graduate of WHS Class of 2015. She and her husband Daniel reside in the township of Pigeon. Emily is an owner and sales/service provider at Integrity Ag LLC. Interests and hobbies include agriculture, education, outdoor activities, houseplants, baking, pets and hobby livestock.

Jonathan Sygulla

School Board Member

Board member since 2023. Graduate of WHS class of 2013. Works for Rohner Finishing Systems. Jonathan and his wife Mykayla have three daughters, Josie, Leigha, and Greta. They reside in the Village of Pigeon Falls. Jonathan enjoys woodworking, house projects, and being outdoors

Sandra Steig

School Board Member

Sandra and her husband Jason reside in the township of Northfield. They have two children, Deacon and Emerson, who attend the Whitehall school. She works for United Healthcare. She enjoys spending her time with her family and friends and watching any Whitehall athletic or musical events as well as the Badgers and Brewers.

Byron Fields

School Board Vice President

Board member since 2012. Graduate of WHS class of 1985. Employed by Western Wisconsin Cares. Byron and his wife Rachel have three children, Mitchell, Gabrielle, and Lauren. They reside in the Town of Lincoln. Byron’s interests include gardening/yard work, camping, fishing, hunting, reading, and playing guitar

School Board Clerk

Board member since 2021. Dave and his wife Laura reside in the City of Whitehall. They enjoy Badger Basketball, Badger Football, and going out on Lake Monona on their pontoon on the weekends.

Stephanie Brueggen

School Board Member

Board member since 2023. Stephanie and her husband Tim own and operate Falls Meat Service in Pigeon Falls. They have 3 children, William, Benjamin and Gretchen who all attend Whitehall Schools. Stephanie resides in the Town of Hale and enjoys cooking, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Brewers
